I introduce you to my most favorite festival ever, the
It’s basically a festival of colour, a tradition that Indian and Nepali people do to celebrate spring. The actual festival was on March, but we celebrated it a bit late (on the first week of April) since we are waiting for the warmer weather.
This festival was held by my university’s international student association (I’m part of this association, so I was one of the person in charge to organise this event)
The Volunteers Team
Usually we are going to use colour powders, throwing it on people faces and bodies, but this year, since we got into trouble with the school regulation, we finally decided to use the liquid one. It still was super fun tho.
Under the perfect weather, people came from different countries were gathering, throwing the colours to everyone, doesn't matter whether it’s strangers or friends.
This is the moment when I felt that our differences were never be a barrier to our friendship.
It can't stop us from having fun together.
"We came from different countries, we have different cultures, we speak different languages, but that's true tho, we all live under the same sky. "
It wasn’t my first time celebrating this exciting event with my International Friends, it was my third time so far, and personally I wish wasn’t my last.
Thanks to my fellow volunteers and to everyone who came that day for making this festival happen! Love you guys! <3
